This article intents to highlight DromonClass achievements, milestones and major events that occur within 2018. Since our establishment in 2003, the Organization shows steady growth and provides a quality solution in both Classification Environmental Services.
#15YearsDromon Celebration
DromonClass has celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2018 and through the previous year, we have released our celebrative logo, our new website with a clean, uncluttered design, in addition to our video out of which we would like to express our “Thank You” to our clients, colleagues and associates for their loyalty and support throughout the years.

Approval by Panama, world’s largest registry
Panama Maritime Authority has celebrated its 100th Anniversary with Dromon Bureau of Shipping. The event took place at Caromill at Limassol, Cyprus on December 04th, 2018. It is worth to note that our event was the last of all global celebrations of the Panamanian Registry.
Approval by Jordan, Paris MoU white listed registry
Jordan Maritime Commission has authorized Dromon Bureau of Shipping (DromonClass) as a Classification Society, Recognized Organization (RO) and Recognized Security Organization (RSO) to perform class and statutory certification services on behalf of the Flag Administration.

Accreditation by ESYD against ISO 14065
DBS has been accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System under ISO 14065 standard to provide worldwide services related to Regulation (EU) 2015/757 on the monitoring, reporting and verification of carbon dioxide emissions from maritime transport.
Accreditation by CSI
On behalf of Clean Shipping Index, Dromon Bureau of Shipping can provide verification services for the environmental parameters emitted and produced from your fleet. Data such as greenhouse gases, sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxides, chemicals and wastes harmful to the marine environment are enter to the index and verified by our Organization.
Approval by Antigua & Barbuda under IMO DCS
Antigua and Barbuda Maritime Administration authorized Dromon Bureau of Shipping (DromonClass) to provide verification services for the IMO data collection system for fuel oil consumption of ships as implemented by amendments to MARPOL Annex VI.

As a modern Classification Society, we are looking forward to the challenges ahead and how we can further serve the community. We are looking forward in expanding our activities, growing and further digitalization.
