“Gold Environment Protector 2022” Award Ceremony
Dromon Bureau of Shipping celebrates the “Gold Environment Protector” 2022 award, the highest distinction an organization can receive by the Republic of Cyprus for preserving the environment, adopting policies incorporating and promoting environmental consciousness.

Dromon Bureau of Shipping celebrates the award of “Golden Protector of the Environment” for the year 2022, granted by the Environmental Research and Education Centre of the Republic of Cyprus.
The award ceremony was held on the 24th of January 2023 at the Presidential Palace premises, hosted by his Excellence the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades who delivered the award in person. Amongst the attendees were the Union of Cyprus Communities, the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education, members of the Parliament and Government, the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber, the Cyprus University of Technology, and the environmental Commissioner. The Environmental Manager Ms. Georgia Ioannou received the award, thanking the Scientific Evaluation Committee for the honour, on behalf of Dromon Bureau of Shipping.
The award is the highest environmental distinction an organization can achieve, after successfully demonstrating that has embraced such environmental policies that manage environmental issues as an integral part of its business policy, establishing practices and actions that protect the environment and promote environmental awareness among personnel, associates, and customers.
