Panama -Type Approval Certificates for BWMS

Notice to: Ship Owners / Managers/ Operators / Surveyors / Auditors :

The Panama Maritime Authority has updated Circular MMC-362 List of accepted Companies with type approval Certificate of Ballast Water Management System.

The list of Companies remains unchanged, however, the Administration has updated the references to clarify that IMO Resolutions MEPC.174(58) and MEPC.279(7) – Guidelines for Approval of Ballast Water Management Systems although adopted, are only recommendations.
