Our Project’s goal is to create a specialized assessment tool for the maritime sector, focusing on developing a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, which will dynamically assess and optimize the workload and workflow of companies within the maritime industry, both onshore and offshore. This project was initiated due to the market demand for a digitized tool that is parameterized especially for the Maritime sector. The project is being funded by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Mechanism – NextGenerationEU, through the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation, and is part of ENTERPRISES/0223/Sub-Call1. The need behind this research arises from the fact that:
- The market demands digital assessment tools that can help shipping companies evaluate their procedures and productivity levels both onshore and offshore.
- Moreover, the Shipping / Maritime sector faces various HR issues caused by imbalances in workload and workflow, which adversely affect productivity.
Therefore, this research aims to address these challenges and provide solutions to enhance productivity in the industry.
The software will be based on our company’s existing methodology and the actual needs of the market. The goal is to address the challenges faced by the industry and provide solutions to enhance productivity.
