Union Des Comores – list of authorized service providers

Notice to: Ship Owners / Managers/ Operators / Surveyors / Auditors / Service Suppliers :

This circular is issued to advise that the Administration Maritime of the Union Des Comores’ list of Authorized Service Providers for lifeboats, launching appliances, and on-load release gears can be found in their Circular “Authorized Service Providers” ref. 20/01925.

The Circular reminds that:

• only approved Service Providers are to be used for any ship flying the flag of the Comoros, and
• Service Providers are authorized to perform maintenance, thorough examination, operational testing, overhaul, and repair only to types/models of equipment that they hold approvals/authorizations from the manufacturer.
