Successful Completion of the NAFTOPLUS Project

Dromon Bureau of Shipping Ltd is pleased to announce the successful completion of the innovative NAFTOPLUS project, funded by the Research & Innovation Foundation (RIF) under the Enterprises program, which started in December 2023 and is expected to be commercially launched in January 2026.

Coordinated by Charakis Research & Consulting Ltd, NAFTOPLUS developed a specialized AI-driven Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution exclusively for the maritime sector. Its goal was to digitize and customize advanced workforce workload analysis and evaluation methodologies, enhancing employee productivity and improving operational efficiency for shipping companies.

Dromon Bureau of Shipping actively participated in evaluating the NAFTOPLUS tools, ensuring that workload analysis delivers accurate and reliable insights. The platform’s effectiveness was also validated by Manchester Metropolitan University, demonstrating its ability to assess elements that were previously difficult to measure.

The completion of the project marks a significant milestone for Dromon, as the NAFTOPLUS platform is now ready to provide maritime companies with an advanced tool for optimal human resource management and productivity improvement.
